Hello, I'm Alvaro and I'm a student of Fantastic English (Spain), I thought about writing about history things and memes, because I love both things, I hope you like it!

It started at 1939 and it finished at 1945.

The second world war started by the invasion of Poland by the Germans.

It was a military conflict between almost every country in the world, only 9 countries were officially neutral and there were two military alliances: Axis and Allies

Neutral countries: Spain, Ireland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Afganistan, Denmark, Nepal and Mongolia.

Axis(Most influent countries): Germany, Japan, Italy and its colonies.

Allies(Most influent countries): United States, United Kingdom, USSR(Union of Soviet Socialist Republics), the Third French Republic.

Casus Belli: Invasion of Poland

Consequences: Collapse of the German Third Reich, the Italian empire and the Japanese Empire.

Casualities:


Axis: Over 8,000,000 military dead
         Over 4,000,000 civilians dead

Allies: Over 16,000,000 military dead
           Over 45,000,000 civilians dead
